About Annelise

Annelise is known for her excellent leadership, business skills, and innovative ideas for which she has won numerous awards. She is an inspirational teacher and motivator with the aim of long term change in the people and groups she works with. She does not believe in merely dumping skills on people, but rather focus on the personal development of each person.

She is an expert in the charity sector of South Africa and for about 30 years, Annelise has initiated and ran large fundraising campaigns, both national and international. Together with her team of dedicated staff members, they have raised more than R200 000 million. Some of her innovative campaigns have been running for 25 consecutive years in South Africa!

For the past number of years, she has been focusing on empowering people through personal development. Via her inspirational seminars, workshops and training series she empowers people in both the corporate and NGO sector.

Annelise is the founder of The Legacy through Charity Trust. In addition to this, she is the patron of National Tekkie Tax Day as well as the patron of Sparrows Child and Youth Care centre - a Children's Home in Tarkastad.
Random things you might not know about Annelise:
  • She will spend her last cent on travelling and have been to 35 countries, including Antarctica!
  • She loves to cook and for the past eight years she attends a cooking class once a month.
  • She is an enthusiastic motorcycle rider and (after her husband and son), her BMW 700 GS is the great love of her life.
  • She speaks cat fluently . . .
